Metal is a genre of music that is both wonderous and exciting. It mainly consists of electric guitars, drums, bass and vocals(harsh/soft/both). You can always depend on Metal to lift your spirits on a bad day!

A lot of people misunderstand metal as ‘just noise’. It is in fact, very expertly crafted noise that your ears will love. Artists create a unique blend of soft and harsh, slow and fast elements in their music. This is what makes metal unique and especially beneficial for running, cycling or just working out.

A word on pop music: I do enjoy listening to pop music. Who doesn’t? It is engineered to be catchy and fun with familiar music elements and a melodic chorus. The problem is, I get bored of it after listening to it a few times and often forget the song completely in a few weeks. Contrast that to Classical and Metal music which I never fail to amaze me with their sheer variety and musical genius and hence have amazing replayability value!
